It appears as just with Phil Hughes' dropping from the test team, alerted by Twitter during the Ashes 2009, Shane Warne has unveiled the new Big Bash League trophy that was due to be revealled on the 16th December 2011 after a competition was held to design a trophy.

I must say, for a comment, the trophy is certainly better than the KFC Big Bash plaque of years gone by, but nothing spectacular.

Look at the well bandaged hand too, Hopefully he will play in the opener against the Sydney Thunder on the 17th December at the MCG. Hopefully Dave Warner plays in this game too after weeks of anticipation for this battle.
